Hand Made Macarons From New England
French macarons are a long enjoyed delicacy. A classic confection consisting of just a handful of ingredients and a variety of fillings. Almonds, sugar, and egg whites make up the famously delicious shells that are notoriously temperamental among professional and home bakers alike. Our macarons are prepared to order in a family owned home-based and Licensed Cottage Food bakery in Berlin Connecticut where we take a fun approach focusing on familiar, comforting flavors you know and love with a few "twists" along the way.
Meet The Chef
Chef Aaron Perrott has been cooking since a young age. Growing up in a family that put a priority on cooking from scratch wherever possible, Aaron learned that food was more than just a means to survive. That it's something meant to create memories and experiences with other people. After graduating culinary school at Johnson and Wales University, Aaron went on to work in Boston Massachusetts at one of the city's premier restaurants. He then moved to Connecticut to marry his now wife, Sarah Perrott where he worked as a Sous Chef in one of Hartford's top restaurants. Aaron later began his role as an Executive Chef with one of the largest food service companies in the world where he discovered a love for baking and pastry. "I started making macarons to teach myself patience. I never thought it would turn into this" He says. Now Aaron and Sarah bake, package, and deliver hand made macarons all over the state of Connecticut.
